NYC's Naked Cowboy says he earns about $150,000 a year performing in Times Square

Robert Burck, the 55-year-old street performer known as the Naked Cowboy, says he earns an average of $150,000 a year performing in Times Square in his signature boots, hat and underwear, according to Business Insider. Burck has performed in the role for more than two decades and lives in Queens.

Beyond tips from street performances, Burck has diversified his income by selling merchandise, filming paid Cameo videos, booking appearances, and licensing his Naked Cowboy persona and image to other ventures.
